President Obama is working overtime to drum up major, bipartisan support for his administration's proposed $800 billion-plus economic stimulus package. However, most Republicans hate the proposal and have vowed to vote against it unless it gets a huge makeover. They argue the measure costs too much and will take too long to stimulate the U.S. economy and job market.
